How to get involved
Our club is 100% volunteer-run. This means that parents, carers or other family members are expected to contribute to the efficient running of training and match days.
While we encourage our members to contribute to the club in different ways (committee, coach, team manager and many other volunteer roles), the minimum expectations are that you perform the duties required of you and organised by your child’s coach and team manager, namely:
-
canteen duty
-
run the lines (yes, you can do it!)
-
bring oranges
-
set up and pack up
-
ground marshal.
These jobs are shared among the parents and carers for each junior team—many hands make light work!
In addition to the required rostering of team activities, there are many other ways you can be involved! Contributing is a great way to thank coaches and managers for investing in you or your child.
You could:
-
Manage a team
-
Coach a team
-
Help keep the accounts
-
Mark the lines
-
Assist in the canteen (in addition to when you are rostered on or for special events)
-
Turn a sausage at the BBQ (in addition to when you are rostered on or for special events)
-
Join the Committee
-
Organise or assist with a fundraiser
-
Help update the website
-
Learn to referee
-
And many others!

Your involvement will make a BIG difference to the way YOUR Football Club is run and managed.
If you have other skills you think may be benefit the club, then please contact one of the committee members. Any amount of time you can give to your club will be valued and appreciated.
